Schmidt Family Barbecue - Bee Cave

AMAZING barbecue served by friendly folks who really care about you. Real ambiance, too--I walked in today, and the smell was incredible! You won't regret eating here. I am partial to the brisket, but everything is delicious. The sides are good, too; I like the creamed corn. The barbecued turkey at Thanksgiving is terrific! That's all we ever serve now. Ask for extra moist brisket, no fat. Tell them Steve sent you!

Food was good but felt crazy expensive. 2 ribs were $11.

We drove from Dallas to Austin for our Thanksgiving meats! Turkey, brisket, and sausage and our homemade sides made our meal outstanding. Thank you to the Schmidt family and team for a fantastic job. Well done!

Great BBQ at good prices. I’ve been here several times over the years and it’s consistently good food. I’m a turkey and sausage guy but have had pretty much everything here and definitely enjoy it.

Decent BBQ. Brisket maybe a bit dry, and the sauce is interesting, not bad but definitely different. Jalapeño Mac n Cheese was pretty good!
