We should have been suspicious when we saw that we were the only guests in the restaurant. Of the three restaurants we went to during our trip to Bedonia (Moretto and Oppici were the others), Pergola was the most expensive and unfortunately at the same time the worst. The Tagliata was virtually uncooked, lots of fat and sinews and a very off taste. The pasta was mediocre. Of the wine we chose they always just had the one bottle, not really good for a group of six....and to top it quite arrogant service from the boss herself.
I went at La Pergola with my friends during the Easter holiday for lunch, we tried the Easter Menù and we found it really delicious, in particular the amazing “tortini Parmensi”. The menù included 2 first course “cannelloni” and “tortelli di ricotta e noci” really tasty. As second course I really suggest “ costolette di agnello”, we enjoyed them so much. Every meal was perfectly paired with good red wine. Really nice and kind staff. I suggest La pergola both for family and friends.
Only 2 people to waitress, hostess and cook--total. Get the menu of the day. It had a variety of sample dishes.
