Bidrage med feedbackFantastic food. The ribs were great. The highest nachos, with all three meats, were very tasty. The smoked wings were just crispy enough and full of taste. The Brezel with beer cheese was excellent. Mrs. Joey had one of the beer flights and said everyone was great, especially the good relationships. The apple scobbler a la fashion was a big end of the meal. It was so good, I forgot to make a picture before we ate it. The service was friendly, prompt and the order was 100% accurate. Joey V. says look at it!
I often came here when they first opened when the pot master was so good in his craft. I came back and had the Taco mix called the Superior. Solid choice. Ask for the sauce how the brisket and the chicken needed it. The pig was amazing. The bartender was on point and quick and friendly. I enjoy the sense of humour they have in some of the beer creations and political naming. It's a place I always recommend.
Since we are in the city to research a book about my ancestors, Thomas J Beale and his treasure we had to get in to try! Excellent nachos! We had the brunch stout and loved him! You can follow the book tour at FittingInAdventure.com
We were at the Smith Mountain Lake and drove to Bedford to find a launderette. While we waited for our towels to be dry, we visited Beales. They are dog friendly outside so we ordered a few flights and a pulpit to share. Bretzel was served with beer cheese and mustard. I especially enjoyed the mustard because there was a sweetheart for it. My favorite beer was the Peach Tea Blonde Ale; we took a 6 pack to go. Overall a beautiful place to visit with many parking spaces nearby. Outdoor picnic tables had parasols. I wish the flies weren't that bad.
Pulled pork was excellent! I loved the side of spicy pickels and onions! My friend loved her burger and other friend loved the half rack or ribs! Ribs visibly fell off of the bone and looked amazing. The smoked wings were so crispy and I recommend the Beales dry rub! My friends enjoyed the beer and advised s great pairing of the ribs with the Bronze . They also enjoyed the Peach tea and Peacan Pie beer. My husband wasn 't too fond of the toasted coconut but others may like. The service was slightly lacking at first, we waited awhile to be seated due to no hostess in site then we waited about 10 minutes before anyone took our drink order so we just ordered our food at that time. Food came within a good time frame and everything was fine after that with refills and getting more beers. Overall a great experience in a great area and I will be back.
