Vanilla Tree - Bedford

Just had the best bagel of my life in here! Incredible. So glad they offered it with cheddar as I really am not a fan of Emmental. Really great vibe in there too, highly recommend.

Tried a spot of lunch here. We had the eggy bread with maple syrup and bacon, bagel with scrambled eggs and the salt beef bagel. All were great. Certainly can’t fault the swift arrival of our food and drink to our table. This place seems to have cornered the bagel market in these parts, so you won’t be disappointed if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s good to support local businesses! Just wish they would stay open till 4 on a Saturday again, instead of 3, then we’d come in for mid afternoon coffee…

Always handy for good quality coffee and cake for friends plus a GF and DF choice for me. Nice atmosphere.

The coffee is very good hence the score of 4, and the staff are friendly but as a vegetarian i found the smell of cooking bacon rather overwhelming. I completely appreciate this is a personal thing but for me it did spoil it and I wouldn’t go again sadly. If you don’t mind that though the coffee is very good.

This coffee shop has it all; Delicious coffee, hand crafted bagels, local produce, arty hipster vibes and the staff are welcoming, well trained and the best. It’s the only place for coffee and bagels in Bedford. Luke
