Popped in on a lunchtime moment and were surprised how busy they were,however a very pleasant member of staff checked with the chef and found us a table for two.Very nice. My wife and I ordered our drinks which came promptly and we both ordered...a burger and chips. Lunch out with a friend and no a clue on where to go. Found this lovely pub on Tripadvisor and booked straightaway just hours before. Once in there we’ve been welcome by a friendly guy who sit us at our table A lovely...lady came to hand us the menu and get the drinks order and after a few minutes the food one. Food was AMAZING! And everyone was very friendly! We ordered a hot drink straight after lunch too

After randomly coming across this place on Google looking for somewhere to eat in the area, I was pleasantly surprised of how nice this place is. A real gem! The decor is cosy, clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was...tasty, piping hot with a decent portion at great value. Keep doing what you are doing, this place has really impressed me and will definitely visit again.

Just had a lovely meal at the Horse and Groom. Superbly cooked and well presented by friendly staff. Good menu choice. Great surrounding. Looking forward to our next visit. Recommend a visit.
