This restaurant is perfect for a lunch outing. They offer great meal deals and the service was fantastic. Sharron, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious.

I went for a drink after work today and was very rudely told by the manager, Owen, that my language was offensive. It was not appropriate for him to address me in such a manner in front of others. I apologize if I was speaking loudly, as I have lost some of my hearing during my time in the army defending freedom in two war zones. The way this person treated me was disrespectful and lacking in basic customer service skills. - Joao Fontinha

Upon arrival, the exterior of the restaurant was run-down with cigarette butts scattered around the entrance. Inside, the tiled floor was sticky around the bar area, causing our feet to stick to it and then to the carpet. The grill wasn't working, so we couldn't order any grilled food like steaks. When we ordered from the menu, it suddenly changed and many items were unavailable. Despite the polite and apologetic waitress, we decided to leave as the overall experience was terrible.

Made a table reservation for my wife's Birthday on Wednesday 13th, although working under stress the staff were exemplary , our meals were cooked to perfection, we were well looked after, Ellia our waitress was so kind and caring , my advice to those who want to experience fine food and to be waited on by conscientious staff who pride themselves with the food they serve , then The Red Lion at Elstow , Bedford is the place for you, enjoyed every minute of our visit. Thank you.

Sun pub in Outwood. Service absolutely spot on and food really good. Liam especially attentive friendly. Would recommend together with Rest of staff
