Hungry Horse The Anchor - Bedford

I visited the restaurant to check out the new renovations and I was thoroughly impressed. My family and I used the app to place our orders while sitting at our table. Although the prices were a bit higher than before, the quality of the food more than made up for it. I ordered a perfectly cooked medium rare steak, which was a huge improvement from the tough steaks I had previously received. The two waitresses were efficient and worked together seamlessly to ensure everyone was taken care of. Despite the crowded bar and karaoke event, the friendly energy in the restaurant was much better than before. Overall, the makeover, delicious food, attentive staff, and welcoming atmosphere make this restaurant well worth a visit.

Visited yesterday with 6 other people. Lovely atmosphere within the pub and they also had a live singer. The pub has been decorated nicely and the staff were very friendly and attentive. All of the food (starters, mains and desserts) came out in good timing and was cooked well. Will be definitely coming back again!

Nicely renovated. Staff friendly service quick. Poor selection for vegetarians. Food was bulk standard pub grub. OK for a quick lunch.
