Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Beckley

The food here is exceptional. The ribs have incredible quality and flavor. The meats are so tender and juicy that any sauce is just for added flavor—unlike many places where you need sauce just to make the food palatable. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is spotless.

Not a big BBQ fan here, I have eaten at tails and its big, makes me appreciate good BBQ, service is good and food is wonderful, very recomending it

As my family and I are vegetarians, we skipped the meat options and opted for several of Dickey's homestyle dishes. I’ve had some great roasted okra in the past, but nothing compares to Dickey's—it's perfectly crispy and flavorful, certainly making other roasted okra envious. The Waffle Iron Fries, drenched in all three of Dickey’s barbecue sauces, were above average and quite tasty. The mac and cheese was good, though not the best I’ve ever had. However, in my opinion, the standout dish was the jalapeño beans—they might just be the best beans I’ve ever tasted, packed with rich flavors and a nice kick. If you enjoy sweet tea, you'll definitely appreciate Dickey's Southern sweet tea. Another delightful surprise was the free soft serve ice cream offered after our meal. While it’s not high-end quality, it tastes great, and both kids and adults will love it. Overall, I have very few complaints about Dickey's (though I did get a splash of BBQ sauce in my eye when I closed the pot lid, which certainly wasn’t their fault). I would go as far as to say that Dickey's serves some of the best food I've ever had! I highly recommend the Beckley location of Dickey's BBQ Pit!

The sandwiches are pretty good. The brisket on the other side is simple. Most places that serve Brisket have depth and many flavors in your mouth when a juicy bite meets your tongue. It's just meat. It has a simple simple taste. I would recommend ordering the sandwiches.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO TRY THE BRISKET. I've been once, and planning to make this place a regular eating stop. If only you could taste their sandwiches, you'd be on your way there now. It is awesome and tastes great!! The prices are reasonable and affordable. A MUST GO TO THERE YET!?!?
