Kathmandu Masala - Beckenham

Had really high hopes for this place based on their great reviews! However, our experience was a mixed bag. Started off with fresh papadums. Our mixed starter was delightful as were the samosas! For main their lamb shank is so tender and juicy. However, our lamb biriyani was incredibly tough and the rice didn’t seem fresh. The chicken in the korma was rubbery and bland. The keema naan barely had any filling. Since most of the main fell short, we left feeling disappointed. Also, we found the lights to be quite white and bright which made the environment quite sterile.
