Large selection of local real ales. renter obviously has pride in its products. very friendly and eating was also good and generous portions. very enjoyed our unplanned visit and will visit again.

Great selection of beer, good atmosphere. Datrs and pool tables. Quiz night on a Wednesday.

The owner and bartender were both wonderful. There’s a good selection of traditional port, and while it’s an alcohol-only pub, the pub grub options are somewhat limited considering the current climate. We ordered some sampi and chips, and I went for the baked mushrooms. The mushrooms were crispy, dry, and flavorful – definitely the best of their kind I’ve had in a long time. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxed evening.

Great pub with a friendly atmosphere, fantastic ambiance, and an excellent selection of beers.
