Thai Apsara - Beaverton

Not sure why there are so many high reviews as we found eating to be average. maybe not many people were in Thai or the real cook had the day off? tom kah gai suppe: totalaroma was ok, but very thin and watery, because cocos milk used instead of cocosus cream. the use of dark chicken produces an inconspicuous grayish color. laarb salad: the ingredients were correct and fresh and it looked good, but the taste was due to the obvious lack of fish sauce and lime juice. I even asked for more talk and they gave me lemon. spicy basil leaves stir fry: typically a Thai clip, this was very pale colored and bland. the sauce was visibly water with some oil and without a spicy. service was good and personal was friendly.

We went for dinner and were seated promptly with friendly staff. Our food arrived quickly and was quite delicious. We were not disappointed with our choices - crispy spring rolls, curry, and peanut chicken. The prices were fair for what we received. My dish could have been a bit spicier, but overall they did a great job. The local Thai restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall but worth a visit. Also, they have adorable elephant teapots.

My place, always friendly and super fast and everything is fresh. I love the salat covers and there is pad thai so good. the personal is always welcoming and the restaurant is very clean.

I met a friend there for lunch. hard to find, and the glass table tops all seemed very dirty. Maybe they weren't, maybe it was just scratching, but it really disturbed me. then we got some very mediocre eating and the potatoes in my curry were very crispy and uncooked. the service was in order, the price was very reasonable. I would go back to get a fair, balanced review and try something else. Maybe it was just a free day.

I’m so surprised this place isn’t more popular. The food is always fresh, super hot, loaded with veggies and delicious. Their wonton soup is the perfect cure for a cold. Prices are great, service is fast and the staff is very sweet and attentive. :
