Talkeetna Roadhouse - Beaverton

Their razzies are amazing, fresh delicious baked goods. Talkeetna is a fun bohemian type town to visit.

Walked up to the bakery window for a delicious treat! Cinnamon rolls (with and without raspberry filling) were delicious!

The food is wonderful the bakery the best! The staff was friendly and helpful great place to enjoy a meal!!

We ate here twice and it was standard smorgasbord. Service was good. Servers were attentive. This place is aimed at the big tour groups coming off cruise ships.

We had been trying to get to Alaska since 2020, and were finally able to go in 2022. We were at the Roadhouse in 2010 with our sons and stayed in the little cabin out the back door. It was so much fun! They are still talking about it as the best stay of the trip! This year we went with another couple and booked the entire upstairs suite. It's different from last time in the fact that rooms and bathrooms are assigned due to Covid 19 still circulating. We loved our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms like going to Grandma's house! We even liked watching a movie on VHS as it was pouring rain while we were in Talkeetna. The restaurant as we knew it is no more. Only overnight guests can eat in the breakfast room. That was ok with us, except we forgot to order our breakfast ahead of time. We were ok with that and went to the front bakery window to get a few Frosty Cinnamon rolls (so yummy) and some molasses cookies for the road. Trisha, the owner, is a wonderful person and I highly recommend the Roadhouse for an authentic Alaskan experience. Even in the deluge of rain, we had a great time!
