Bidrage med feedbackGreat food, though a bit pricey—definitely not your typical chain restaurant! I had to try the fried cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. However, some of their extra charges seem a bit ridiculous, like charging 50 cents for extra dressing or butter. The wings weren't anything special, and the beer selection is fairly average in terms of pricing. I did experience a mix-up with my order, where the waitstaff accidentally brought the wrong beer; I ended up with a $9 bottle instead of the $3.50 one I expected. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would consider coming back.
THE GOOD: The gyros are some of the best we've had—huge, flavorful, and reasonably priced. I would say they definitely outshine the local competitors like Papa Dukes. The beer selection is excellent, and the way it's organized makes it easy to choose something based on your taste preferences. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the open layout ensures you don’t feel cramped. We truly enjoyed the ambiance. THE BAD: Unfortunately, the grape leaves were a significant letdown. I love grape leaves, but these were tasteless and incredibly small—only five pieces for $8.99, with hardly any meat inside, which I found unacceptable. Our waitress wasn’t able to provide much information about the beers we asked about, citing that she was under 21 and none of the staff had tried them. It would have been helpful for someone to consult a bartender for more details, especially since the beer I tried ended up being gluten-free and quite disappointing. Additionally, having prices listed for the beers would be a good idea; my girlfriend ordered a bottle that ended up costing us $7. A little transparency on pricing would be appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed most of the food here, but the disappointing aspects left a sour note. We will definitely return for the gyros, but we'll be cautious about potential overpriced items. I would encourage others to give this place a try!
Great food and excellent value! I would definitely return. The jumbo cod lived up to its name, and the fries were crispy and served hot. The vegetable salad my companion ordered was tasty, though a bit on the small side. The table next to us had the steak salad, and it looked amazing. The Happy Hour was a lovely touch. The Bloody Mary was perfectly seasoned. Well done, Dugan!
We're late for this pub, but they didn't make us feel like it. We ordered the Pierogies and hot chaos, they were both amazing!! Your staff is very friendly and helpful with their honest suggestions. You also have great tap selections. This is definitely worth a hidden gem and the trip to find it. We wish we had the opportunity to try their breakfast menu. We will definitely return to the east coast on our trips!!
Overall very good bar. The new owners have recently expanded the menu and have made some new favorites I really like their Meatball Melt). They have a happy hour and while the bar/restaurant can be very busy at times it is a very comfortable place to sit and eat/drink. The owners are very personable and love talking to their customers.
