Bidrage med feedbackThis is by far my favorite location, and it’s not just because I worked here for three years. Beaver Falls is one of the original Hot Dog Shoppe restaurants, and you can really tell by the exceptional service and the pride they take in their establishment. Orders are consistently accurate and delicious; they truly invest the time and effort to prepare the food exactly as you want it, unlike some other places that rush through the process. The staff is always incredibly friendly, whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, and the management has worked diligently to restore this location to its former glory. If only they would bring back breakfast, it would be absolutely perfect!
Putting our minor disappointment and banter aside, this BHDS offers the same quality, quick, and affordable options that I’ve come to expect from their location on Constitution Boulevard, which I’ve visited several times. I’m always amazed at how much food you can get for a relatively small price. What's even more impressive is how they can serve such fresh and delicious meals at reasonable prices at scale. Unlike The King and the Clown, who freeze everything, BHDS prepares their food fresh each day, including their hand-cut fries, freshly ground burger patties, and chili, at a distribution center before sending it to all their locations. Because of this, it’s easy to forget that each BHDS is a franchise when you’re dining there, and I’m truly glad I discovered BHDS this year. They are definitely a standout chain. This particular location closes at 9 PM, and even though we didn't finish our meal until 9:05, no one rushed us out the door. We mistakenly thought they were open until 10 PM. However, the friendly staff didn’t mind and were just happy to have our business on a chilly pre-holiday evening. So, did we find something more profound than fried chicken? Hmm… I’ll get back to you on that. A year from now, I promise it will come to me!
I'm a health nut, so this kind of joint would never be my first option to eat. But being forced to eat here by my family, I found there food to be very tasty. If you're want something with grease, cheese and chili, this is the spot for you.
The hot dogs are good. But expect to wait. The atmosphere is very greasy, dirty, all together just not good. Employees especially managers are quite rude.
Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe reminded me of those old fashioned malt and burger places. The downtown restaurant had a basic decor with an emphasis on the basics hot dogs, fries and milk shakes. I tried the chili cheese dogs. They were good, but I'd skip the cheese next time and just have the chili and onions. The chili cheese fries were a winner. Besides the value and good basic menu are the friendly service and perfect kids sizes. I'll be happy to make a stop at Brighton's the next time I pass through Beaver Falls, PA.
