Er is een 3-gangen menu voor zo'n €35,00 maar je kunt ook a-la-carte eten. Dat is aanzienlijk duurder, maar de keuze is geweldig. Ik nam de pigeon entier. Nog nooit zo'n mals, sappig duifje gegeten. Smullen! De tarte chocolat als dessert was een maaltijd op zich. Lekker kleverig, niet te zoet en heerlijk vol. Maar de pièce de résistance is bij Ma Cuisine toch echt de wijnkaart. Een dik boekwerk met de meest fantastische wijnen! Where in the world bevat de wijnkaart 2 volle pagina's Château d'Yquem?! Van de jaren 1924 t/m 2006. Dit is echt een cadeautje voor de wijnliefhebber. Kortom, heerlijk eten en alleen het KIJKEN naar de wijnkaart is al genieten!
We felt like a locals in the rustic setting and after trying Michelin starred restaurants, we were happy to try traditional dishes that weren't overprice. The place was packed on a cold night, and we did ot get there till 10 or 10:30. Wine list is epic....
Actually rate it a 3 1/2Went there due to all the rave reviews. Sadly, this is a struggle to review. Want to rave about it but just can't. The owner/server acted like he didn't want to be bothered by having to wait on us, and preferred giving his attention to the table behind us.The oeufs en Meurette were the best on this trip. The foie gras with toast was nice with a delicate flavor. The entrees:Duck, eh, pretty average actually. The boeuf borgogne had the heaviest sauce of any we had in the area, and was just too much for the summertime. The epoisses was average.Not a cheap dinner at 139 euro. Would not go back; found better values elsewhere.
Nous sommes ravis d'être venus vendredi soir dîner vers vous avant de sortir! Service irréprochable, serveuse gentille et patron accueillant! Les plats étaient très bons, les vins/champagne superbes! Merci beaucoup et à bientôt :-)
Thrilled to get a last minute reservation for 6 and l arrived early to explore the wine list which interestingly enough is listed by price.After a few minutes l had to work out whether to drink a well priced new release that l was desperate to try or risk something really old at the same price. It the meantime the rest of the family arrived and they started getting very busy. We ordered the food which seems simple but always exceeds expectation and took the owners recommendations which were spot on. Fortunately our little kids eat like seasoned dinners having grown up I'm a restaurant environment and usually ignore the kids menu, going for lobster and truffle dishes.Finally l asked for advise indicating l new burgundy very well but which of the old wines would be best? A 67 Corton was recommend as a wine that exceeded the vintage and came from cellar door! Perfect l thought and it was exceptional. Got a 14 Sauzet Perrieres as our glass of white (took rest home). Food was delicious came out relatively quickly after ordering. Lucky it was the day before a public holiday otherwise we would not have got it. Reminds me of our own place that always has a interesting story to go with the wine.
