Aux Hospices - Beaune

I had dinner here with my family, but the food was terrible and the waiter was unhelpful. We wanted some child friendly food for my child, but the waiter said they could not change the chicken volaille and chips to make it child friendly so it came with a mustard sauce that made it inedible for my 4 year old. I ordered boeuf bourguignon, which was just a large lump of fat with a tiny piece of beef that I gave to my child. A disgusting dish and they must have forgotten the red wine (in a town full of wine cellars). I wanted some wine with it but the waiter never bothered to come and take the order. We even had to go into the hotel to pay for the trash we ate, although the staff sent us to 3 different places to pay so they really don't know what they are doing here. Definitely do not eat here, there are plenty of much better and cheaper places to eat.

Our party of 4 ate a lunch here. Had no problem getting a table. We wanted a quick lunch and at first was not sure if that was going to happen. But we were pleasantly surprised. Order came fairly quickly and was of good quality.

There are a lot of bars around the square but this looked interesting so we sat outside for pre dinner drinks...nice lady serving and the Bourgogne blanc was good and accompanied by some crisps and olives...a great place to sit back and watch the world go by!

Honestly, the comments deserve to be examined. this bar is very good, original by its patronage and atmosphere, and that is what makes its charm. proportions are excellent and well eat (so! there is a beautiful, comfortable indoor heat for winter and a beautiful view of the place outside. I went to the family at 5:00 and we could eat! I recommend this place!
