Bidrage med feedback11/18/2022Update: Manager called me within 20mins of us leaving and addressed situation. The problem in the back was found and taken care of. She was very apologetic and encouraged us to come back to either Beaumont location and give them another chance and they would take care of us.We attempted to eat here. Our mozzarella cheese stick appetizers came out and they were still frozen. The waitress was nice and apologized and brought us fresh ones out. Then while my husband was eating his main course, Shrimp Caprice, he chewed on something hard and had to spit it out. It was a metal wire inside his mozzarella cheese in his pasta dish. The waiter again came and apologized. We all instantly stopped eating. The manager never came to the table. I walked up to the hostess and told her we would be leaving and why. She and the other workers around her just stared at us. She then said they think the metal came off a scrub brush in the kitchen. She said they would take his plate off the charge. I told her we had barely touched our food and at this point did not feel safe eating it and had lost our appetite. I told her we would not be paying for the food. No manager ever came to address the issue. The waitress though was amazing and very apologetic.
Take out seems to be not nearly as good as dine in.Lunch dine in last week was fantastic, take out tonight, not nearly as good. Smaller portion, higher price (lunch vs dinner take out). Tiny piece of chicken, if/when I go back, I'll be sure and dine in.
If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm so impressed by the Calder location and the impeccable customer service, especially on behalf of Stratton Davis, the general manager. I ordered a dish on Uber eats from the other location on Neches that unfortunately was made incorrectly, the Uber driver advised I call the restaurant to sort it out, stating it was out of his hands. So not knowing that there was two locations, I called the Calder location by mistake. Not only did the general manager show sincere empathy but he offered to have his kitchen re-make my dish with the correct customizations and to sheer perfection I might add. But that's not all, knowing I had ordered from Uber and had no way of picking it up, he went the extra mile to go out of his way and personally bring it to me. The fact that this wasn't even their mistake to fix in the first place and he went above and beyond to ensure I'm satisfied, says it all. Far exceeded all expectations I had.
Watched and listened to the skinny old Manger scream and yell at the cashier about the dishes being dirty when it was clearly not her fault, then after talking to 2 of the waitresses, they said the manager was a Tweeker and under the influence of Methamphetamines (METH) We will not be going back.!!!
Food was pretty good but service was pretty lackluster. Soda was bad and we told the waitress, she brought us water and still charged us for the soda. (only took about 2 sips) Never brought us silverware or napkins, had to get our own, forgot our appetizer and finally brought it out after we reminded her and our pizza was out. Then brought us the wrong bill. It was just disappointing.
