Monterey House - Beaumont

Came in after the rush. The restaurant might have 4 tables that weren't busy at all. The food was good, but the service was terrible. I couldn't get a refill because the waitress was busy working with other employees. But the food and the price were great. I'm back. Everyone deserves a second chance....?

After eating here many times, I won't be back. Hot sauce was a tomato in a cup. Our Queso was really big. No. 7 was fry chicken in a flour tortilla. It was specified on the menu, it was marinated. This was clearly not the case. The big baby literally spits it out. She loves Mexican food. At check-out I spoke my concerns about the food. The manager just said good, our food is the same day. That explains why I'm not back. She didn't offer anything else. I paid $37 for a lunch with all our food on our plate 1 2 bites we tried to get down. The manager put crackers on the table and gave the Grandbaby while we eat. She didn't cry for crackers she cried because she was hungry and the food was bad!!!!

They serve only simple margaritas, no aromatized so that a disappointment was. Margarita was just fine. I also had the Enchiladas and didn't like them so much. The chips and salsa were good. My grandparents liked their food more than me, so there? Since the restaurant has been so long, I thought it must be because the food is delicious, but instead I am surprised that it has survived as long as it is. Cafe Del Rio is much better. I cannot recommend this place for good Mexican food.

Green sauce was watery and NO taste, The Red Salsa was tomatoes Only, no onions, garlic, jalapeno, tasted like can! Ask for cheese Enchiladas to be hot! Too hot, but cold inside! I'm going back!

Went for my usual, Mexican pizza. This time I tried it with light beans, delicious ?
