Sand Castle Diner - Beachwood

Very good food, a lot of variety, healthy portions, great service, reasonable prices.

Finishing up cleaning out Mom's House in Holiday City and stopped here for the first time for Breakfast. Kit had the Lulu Breakfast Sandwich which was a Pork Roll, Egg, Cheese between 2 Slices of Texas size French Toast I had a regular Pork Roll, Egg, Cheese on toasted roll with SPK and a side of French Fries. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and nice atmosphere.

Very cute place. It had a very towny vibe which I appreciate a lot despite obviously not being from there. Service was fast and my waitress wish I could remember her name : was great! I got the Hot Apple Waffle with a side of Canadian bacon and my boyfriend got the Hearty Breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Great food, not expensive, and very filling.

The Sandcastle has been around decades now, and it's as good as ever. Value for your money, quality of food, quality of service, it's the quintessential New Jersey Diner, and they stuck with it all through the pandemic. Great burgers, great entrees, a classic club, what more do you want from a diner?!! Lovely location, clean and comfortable setting inside, it's really a dying breed the NJ Diner but The Sandcastle is the paradigm. A true classic.

Food was great, food came out fast, we had seating immediately. Our server could use some training, nothing was picked up from our table, nobody was refilled, it was a pain to get her attention, we were not checked on. when we ordered coffee and dessert we planned to sit in with those items but they were presented in togo containers while our whole table was still a mess from our previous items. on our way to cash out we were not acknowledged but we did get to watch her giggle with her coworkers playing games on their phones by the entrance.
