Next Door American Eatery - Beachwood

A few coworkers and I had lunch at Next Door on its fourth day of opening. The service was excellent and efficient, the prices were fair, and the food was fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back! I appreciated the variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. They offer the Impossible Burger, which I've enjoyed at other places, but I opted for the Next Door Roasted Veggie Bowl and added avocado based on our server's recommendation. It was fantastic! Also, they serve Pope's hot sauce, which is made in Cleveland. I love supporting local products!

For a healthier selection of whole food, this place has it. I tried the maschiere for an app with the homemade ranch and was amazing. I chose the Baja Burger cooked medium. The guacamole was super fresh and light. the combination of plastered jalapenos and cream were tasteful. Shoe strings were perfect. The atmosphere and friendly service made my lunch a pleasant experience.

Enjoyed my Pineapple Express burger but thought the menu selection were a little slim.

My favorite aspect of this restaurant is its door—it's a beautifully crafted piece with a satisfying weight. At first, I thought my waitress was a bit rude, but I soon realized she was actually very experienced and efficient, which made my dining experience more enjoyable and engaging. The atmosphere has all the charm of a bar, but without any of the grime, which I truly appreciate. Now, onto the most important part: the fries are fantastic! They're the perfect size and paired with organic ketchup, making them to die for. I ordered a cheeseburger with their honey sriracha sauce. At first bite, I thought it was just okay, but as I kept eating, it got even better. It turned out to be a wonderfully crafted burger, from the bun to the meat and cheese, all perfectly balanced.

The food was incredible, with a wide variety of options and exceptional service from the staff. Savannah was especially wonderful and even made me a custom honey mustard, despite it not being on the menu. The Ohio Mango Bear was a standout dish. We can't wait to return! Many items and spices on the menu are sourced from local Ohio businesses.
