Bidrage med feedback1/16/2021: We ordered dinner online for pickup. We arrived at the restaurant and waited for the text that the order was ready, but it never came. My wife then went in to see about our order and was told their internet had been down. We understood and asked that the order be resubmitted and expedited. They agreed and said it would be about 20 minutes. About 30 minutes later we checked on our order and we were told it would be 20-30 minutes more. We then asked to have the order cancelled and the restaurant agreed. One week later the charge was still appearing on my credit card so I called and spoke to the manager, Tony. Tony said that as that night’s dinner rush was about to start, that he would call me no later than the following Monday (two days later). I never received a call back so I called the restaurant again about two weeks later and left a message for Tony and still not have not gotten a call back. It is now 2/21/2021 and I have had to open a dispute with my credit card company to reverse the charge...all because we were trying to support a local independent business in the time of covid.
I would give this place a hundred stars if I could! Everything here is absolutely beautiful. Classy and cozy! Fine dining that you can wear your blue jeans to. Top notch cuisine without any snobbery. My kind of place!Super cute atmosphere and fun staff!I really enjoyed myself and I’m walking out ten pounds heavier!
The music and atmosphere was great. The food was not impressive or reflective of the cost. The Calamari plate was light, overcooked, and chewy. We get Calamari at most every restaurant we go to and this was the worst.The Chilean Sea Bass recommended by everyone at the restaurant was way over cooked. I was excited about the broth and disappointed that it tasted like pure soy sauce. I did let the server know when she asked how it was. She apologized for recommending. I said it wasn’t her fault but to please give comments to chef or manager. I doubt she did and so that is why I felt I should leave this review.Lastly the fried fish and chips. The fish was not of any quality. Lots of unappetizing discoloration on top of being soggy. The fries were also way over salted which I noticed a common complaint in other reviews.I hope this review helps this business to get better and maintain a higher level of quality to retain customers. If this business is struggling, it is not because of Covid. It is lack of knowledgeable servers and quality control in the kitchen. Good Luck.
Food is ok. Service is ok. Nice atmosphere.. Pricey. Portion sizes small...except dessert...HUGE! Nothing here so fantastic that you'll feel an immediate need to return. Kudos for using local sources.
I like the vibe of Lindys but it feels more East Coast seaside than North Coast lakeside in menu, aesthetic, and price. Kyle the bartender was fantastic. He warned me that the Lavender Collins was going to be sweet and even with less than the normal amount of simple syrup it was still outrageously sweet. The house salad is fantastic but way overdressed- too bad, next time I'm ordering the dressing on the side. The happy hour pizza is a good deal but it's more of a matzah pizza (cracker like) and was somehow still undercooked. For happy hour prices, it's a solid 3 stars but I would've been seriously disappointed to pay full price. However, the staff is a 5. Everyone was welcoming and wonderful!
