El Toro Mexican - Baytown

We were in Baytown for a weekend getaway. Friday night dinner was at El Toro (great pick thanks to my husband ???? . Place was packed and we had a 30-45 minute wait but was seated in 10-15. Our waiter was Logan and he was great. We informed him it wasour first time and he gave us his recommendations but my husband wanted fajitas which was actually really good the steak wastasty and tender the chicken was tender and moist. If you do the fajitas you have to get the chipotle garlic sauce(delicious ?. Thank you Logan for the great customer service you made the experience delightful. The manager January waspleasant????

Very clean, Mary, my server, was excellent. I got my food quickly, good portion size, delicious. Bring a sweater if you dine in because they keep it cold! I had The Bandido.(3 enchiladas(chicken, cheese, beef fajita with different sauces atop). Reasonablypriced. I just HAD to get some cilantro green sauce and chips to enjoy at home! Margarita was rather weak.

Every visit I've had to this restaurant, except for today, has been wonderful. I absolutely love their fajitas and almost everything on the menu. However, today's experience with their to-go service was disappointing. I ordered a fajita salad to-go, and when I got to my desk and opened it, I was shocked to find only seven pieces of meat in the salad—just seven! I paid $17 plus a $3 tip for this! Please see the picture. When I've dined in, that's never been an issue. I feel shortchanged. Come on, El Toro Baytown, do better!

We had a terrible experience at El Toro on Sunday. I've never had an issue there before, but this time was different. It took 10 minutes for a waiter to even come to our table (we were a party of two). He brought us chips and salsa, took our drink order, and we never saw him again! After setting a timer for 7 minutes, we decided to leave. I really dislike walking out, but we had given him more than enough time to return with our water and tea, and the restaurant wasn't even busy at that time. El Toro, please do better.

We had a large group, which caused our wait to be a bit longer than usual. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent!
