Grey Horse Tavern - Bayport

The owner is always a delight, greeting patrons with an inviting warmth. The restaurant and bar area are very comfortable. The food is so consistently good that when I'm looking for a sure thing for dinner I know I can always count on The Grey Horse Tavern!

Found this neighborhood spot while on holiday. Very impressed with the quality and effort put into the food. Higher end culinary skills in a tavern setting that makes you feel right at home. Our table even got a surprise visit from the Chef. Genuine guy who cares about what his patrons are enjoying. Equally important was our patient server on Christmas eve. Thanks Grey Horse!

Before you do anything else, do yourself a favor and order the calamari! It is absolutely the best. After that, try the duck. Then, feel free to call and thank me! I absolutely love this place!

The food is excellent, although the seating can be a bit cramped. Unfortunately, they will be closing next month, which is disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience during my first visit. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was inviting. I will definitely be returning!
