Bar Remy - Bayonne

This restaurant is located on the banks of the river at the entrance of a street that leads you to the Cathedral. Food and service were very good. In view of the average prices in France, the meal was not expensive. I'll repeat the place when I get back to Bayonne. Enjoy!

Our last meal of our vacation in Bayonne was a complete contrast to experiences in other, much more expensive restaurants. This simple bar always appears busy, and it is clear why. We were greeted by the most smiling Maitre d', encouraged by my... (additional rudimentary) order in French and took the time to ensure that we both understood the composition of our selected dishes. Nice food, served immediately and we did not feel under pressure to eat quickly and move on. Great value for money: two main dishes, dessert, beer and wine for about 28 €. Will be back.

Meals for 7 people by chance at this beautiful address. The servers were very welcoming. Several different dishes have tried and no disappointment, than very good surprises, and the same for desserts. I strongly advise!

Simple but very good cooking, unfrozen dove steak for children. Servers and the old 2nd row of ab between 2006 and 2013 are of great goodness.

The welcome was pleasant despite the affluence. The plates were well trimmed for an acceptable price. A good brewery.
