Campanile - Bayeux

I can recommend both the starter and the dessert buffets. The quality and diversity offered is very well paid for the price, even more thanks to the TheFork reduction. I had no complaints!

Wife and I stayed here on the way to the car ferry in Oistreham for the night to Portsmouth; half an hour drive after our dinner. Not great ambience, but not expected in this type of facility, but clean, easily accessible and friendly welcome. Standard Campanile format, Starter buffet, choice of the main, Dessert buffet, so that everyone fits their meal to their appetite or preference. We had only head, dessert and coffee, and everything was very good while it was quite favorable; the dessert buffet was fantastic and unlimited. I had booked our table over La Fourchette, which I often use because as well as sometimes a discount you have a certain destination for your meal and not much time looking for somewhere to eat in a strange city, while a reasonable idea what to expect. Great food, great value and I would certainly eat again here.

Good cuisine (the type of restaurant chain of course), the very beautiful and attentive waiter. On the other hand, the room is super sound and noisy.

I and a friend stayed at the first class hotel in front of the campanile on the edge of bayeux. our hotel has provided a 15% discount card for this restaurant and as the day had been long and it rained, we decided to cross for convenience reasons. This is how you find out that the france is not the angleterre. He's not a little boss! while the place is quite simple, plastic tables, etc. We both found that food was really great, my companion had a good steak and I had a chicken dish and pasta that was really good. they make an agreement where you can either have a buffet of admissions, or a dessert/ cheese buffet with your main dish, and we opted for it (about 11 euros). desserts were numerous, varied and all delicious. Yeah, we got out! the staff was friendly, generous and attentive. Listen, it may not be the most glamorous environment, but you do not eat chairs or tables. If you want an easy, cheap and very good cuisine and you just need to eat, I can completely recommend this little restaurant. We loved it so much that we went there twice. I love French!
