Buoy's - Bay Saint Louis

Beautiful views with live bands play around weekends. Food is fair enough, but nothing special... fried is fried. BUT the mother-in-law makes an important lime cake to THE FOR... So ask if they have any homemade lime cake in the summers... They won't be disappointed. Family friendly place.

Fun place to hang during the day to eat a drink or a bite. Directly on the water at the beach Blvd in the old town. Roast-Rind-Poboy and Shrimp-Poboy were delicious. Beautiful beach decoration. Usually you have a band outside during the day at weekends. At night it turns into more club atmosphere with a DJ. Look at it.

The first thing you notice when you go to Buoy's Bar is the bar. It is designed to look like the back of a sports fishing yacht! The rest of the bar holds the fishing theme, and I have to say it looks great! There is a good number of local beers on tap. They kept the menu quite small, but what they offer is excellent. The Redfish Tacos were aweseome! It was too hot to sit outside on the deck overlooking the port when we visited, hope to later in the evening or on a cooler day, as the view was incredible.

The food is surprisingly good. Cheeseburger excellent and always cooked for perfection. The shrimps are also tacos. However, this has the most unpleasant seats on the coast. The bar bends out so that you have to sit up at some distance from the bar and get over to dinner, and the tables and stools are at odd heights. Service can be uneven. Only craft beers on tap.
