Buoys - Bay Saint Louis

Great cheeseburgers and kesefites sit on the veranda with a wonderful brise from the sea. I'll have another one. great food and service with a great location and view.

Beautiful small open bar with two stages to dance, the bar had only 2 people working pretty much as getting drinks. has a second etage with a little more space, but should not be cramped. beautiful looking at the beach. Maybe overnight, but I had none when I left.

Patrick was really cool and the place was funny. good choice of beer, people were cold and no crazy. great evening dress!

We WERE planning to eat at Buoys Bar on New Year's Day (we were trying all the restaurants in BSL). Tried to go in on NYE around 8PM just to get a quick drink. This was the ONLY place in BSL with a very young (very rude) bouncer with an attitude at the front entrance who thought he was king. It was like Fort Knox trying to get in there I won't go into detail but when he wanted to frisk us (we are in our 60's and were not even wearing jackets because it was warm), I said NOPE, not worth it to give him his power trip. We had nothing to hide but this guy had a real attitude. Others were being let right in while we were being questioned and delayed. A quick look at the clientele he was letting through with no questions asked told us Buoys Bar really just didn't want 60+ year-old couples so he made it difficult. It worked. By the way every other restaurant and bar during the BSL NYE celebration was very welcoming. You could easily walk in and out of them. Not Buoy's Attitude Bar! Stay away. MANY better options on Beach Blvd in BSL.

Younger crowd. Busy nights hard to get a drink but other nights it's great. Beautiful views from the upper deck over looking the Bay. Prices are fair. D.J. most nights
