Cafe Roux - Bay City

Huge burgers, and I really enjoy the red beans and rice as well. Be sure to try the vanilla iced tea!

This restaurant is a wonderfully quiet and cozy spot with AMAZING food. We visited based on a friend's recommendation, and last night was fantastic! Just a heads up—don't come here if you're in a rush. The gentleman who served us handled everything himself; I didn't see any other staff around. He waited on us, cooked, and served our meals. It was actually impressive that he managed it all on his own, and he did a fantastic job!

A few Sundays ago, while passing through Bay City, I decided to check out this quaint little café. It’s located at the rear of a health food store, but you don’t have to enter through the store itself. When I visited, the atmosphere inside was cozy, though we had to wait a bit for our food, which turned out to be well worth it. The gumbo and shrimp etouffee were absolutely delicious! For dessert, I tried the bread pudding, which was amazing as well. The next time I’m in Bay City, I’ll definitely be stopping by again to sample some other items from their menu.

I wanted to eat tonight and the waitress was hot.
