Excellent food and very nice people. I recommend this place to anybody

Love this place. Usually always nice meaty ribs and the sauce us homemade. Very sweet with a nice burn at the end.

Ordered on 07/29.We bought pulled chicken sandwich, rib tips and and catfish.The Mac and cheese as another reviewer was either stale or left over. It was gross.The pulled chicken wasn't pulled. My guess is it is canned. It was cubed/cut cubed. It was slapped onto an undersized bun. Almost like store bought canned chicken with store bought BBQThe fries were plain and tasted like store bought fries.The store was extremely warm.Would not recommend.

For the price we paid I was expecting amazing but instead got mediocre. The cheesy potatoes were partially inedible because they were scrapings of the pan. The potato salad was the only item ate entirely. Staff was friendly.

My boyfriend and I have ordered takeout from Bare Bones numerous times as Bay City doesn’t have too many barbecue options. Was super excited to try out the barbecue chicken pizza based on recommendations. Ordered, picked up, and got it home for it to be a pulled pork pizza. Called to check on the issue and was told I ordered it wrong with absolutely no care to discuss the issue. I don’t eat pork, didn’t order pork. Won’t be back. Looking for a new barbecue spot.
