I remember being a little girl and coming to this place. My parents had very similar memories. However, upon recent visits my memories were let down. Long gone are the options to get candy other than the typical convenience store shelves. So much of the nostalgia has been removed from this once old gem.

The food quality has really declined since Kathy left. The prices have increased, and they seem to be skimping on the toppings. What’s up with the tiny half slice of bacon on the bacon cheeseburgers? The last three I ordered only came with half a slice, and the price has gone up by a dollar! While the food is still better than what you’d find at most gas stations, I’m feeling quite disappointed, even though I’m still a regular customer.

The best caramel rolls! The buns and breads are also quite delicious.
