Granny's Pantry - Battle Lake

I was thrilled the moment I walked in! OMG, sweets galore! There's an incredible selection of taffy, all organized by flavor—so you can pick your favorites! The ice cream options are fantastic too, catering to everyone from tiny tots to senior citizens. The service here is wonderfully patient and friendly! You'll often see a line out the door, which just shows how beloved this place is. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would!

As soon as I stepped into Granny's Pantry, I knew I had arrived at the right moment. The delightful aroma of ice, baked goods, and candy filled the air, making for an irresistible atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. We came in for ice cones, and there was an impressive variety of flavors to choose from; everyone found something they loved. I was especially tempted by the presentation of the forge, but my better judgment prevailed after a day of indulging in local treats. I also really enjoyed the fantastic selection of saltwater pottery on display; it felt like I could have taken home any flavor I had ever wished for. Thank you, Granny's!

A delightful candy shop and ice cream counter! There are no seats inside, but plenty of benches outside on the street. The service is incredibly friendly!

Great ice cream, very fresh. Sweets shop with tons of different sweets and a very large selection of salt water Taffy. Also has a Fudge shop. Very clean, staff is young and efficient. They make their own waffles in the house!

Granny's is a pillar of the community during the summer; you can often find three or more generations enjoying ice cream together out on the sidewalk. There's almost always a line, but it goes quickly and you can enjoy the AC and the smell of sweets while you wait. Great selection of bulk candy, fudge and chocolates made in-house, and of course the ice cream! Purchases are cash only, but there is an ATM inside. I begged my parents to take me as a kid, and now my kids do the same to me.
