The Buzz Cafe - Baton Rouge

This family-owned restaurant is situated in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. They offer fantastic lunch options at affordable prices, and the portions are very generous. I always recommend trying the daily specials. If you can make it before noon, you'll avoid the rush of local office and government workers. I visited this morning for a breakfast biscuit sandwich, and it was excellent!

The combo fried rice was tasty, but I noticed that I got a lot less on my plate compared to my last visit. Honestly, for $16, I expected a much larger portion!

I visited for breakfast and tried the biscuits and gravy with sausage. It was incredible! The flavors were vibrant, and there was a pleasant spicy kick to it (so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of spicy dishes). I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Oh my this place is awesome. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have an array of dishes to choose but my ultimate favorite is the shaken beef. Marinated prime beef served in a brown sauce with white or fried rice. You have to go check themout yourself believe me.

If you are an early bird, and like to enjoy a great breakfast in a clean environment while you are checking out your emails or working, this is the best place to come. The food is great, the place is neat, clean, and customer service was outstanding.
