El Rio Grande Mexican - Baton Rouge

I stopped by several times in search of my new favorite local spot, and I can confidently say this place is it! As a traveling contractor in the USA, I always look for local gems, and I’ve found one here. It's a great place with delicious Mexican food. Thank you! And by the way, be sure to ask for recommendations!

We visited the restaurant with a large group and had made a reservation in advance, so everything was prepared for us when we arrived. The service was excellent. I ordered the Hangover Burrito, and it was delicious. The portion sizes for all the dishes we ordered were well-sized.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. I even got to meet the owner and everyone was incredibly friendly. The cook did a fantastic job—the beans were the best I've ever tasted! The guacamole was fresh and absolutely delicious. I couldn't wait to return, and once again, the food and service exceeded my expectations! The tamale and chili were simply incredible. Don't miss out—try it now!

My first visit to this little jewel; is not my last...newer to BR and LA, and is always excited to happen to me on a big new... Margarita was there. The taste of food, riches and spices, was... The food was so fresh to my taste buds, not tasted like a fast microwave. The service was fabulous. I say GO TRY IT IMMEDIATELY!

One of the best places I have eaten at since I got to Baton rouge. The location might seem a bit off, but it makes it unique. Definitely should give it a try, you will not regret it. Ps: Don't forget the queso
