Visited Robertos last night, the food was absolutely delicious.the staff were very friendly and attentive and was really nice to chat to the chef/owners. We were seated to our table and our drinks/food order was taken promptly. We had asked if we could have a short break between the starter and the main which was fully accommodated. In regards to your response below I wanted to correct some lies you have stated. 1. I live 2.2 miles away, I have the Uber priority which alerts me when the driver has picked up the food from you and how long he will be and I can even track him along the way. It takes him 8 min from your restaurant to my home. The problem has nothing to do with the driver but how it's been packed. 2. I have only ordered from you a handful of times and this is the first time I have spoken or complained about the food. The previous times I simply reheated it in the microwave. You have clearly mistaken me for someone else. My name is Nazia not Nazir. 3. I never asked the chef to seal my box but whoever bags it up. I don't understand why you and your staff feel its necessary to abuse and shout at customers for a simple request such as making sure the food is packed and bagged properly. I don't have any issues with any other deliveries. If you are getting repeated complaints from different customers about the food being cold and boxes not sealed properly then why not spend a few seconds getting the waitress or other staff to help pack and seal the deliveries properly. It's a shame that rather than take constructive feedback you decided to attack, lie and blame others for the food arriving cold. Pizza always arrives cold and the box partially opened when delivered. I simply asked if they could put foil or anything to seal the box so it arrives warm and not only did the staff refuse the chef started lecturing me on the phone about how busy they are and that they don't have time to pack it properly and if it arrives cold it's not their problem! How disappointing. Our table was at 7.30 and they left us at the bar for an hour. Once we asked if we could be seated the waitress said “oh sorry I thought you were chatting” how bizarre we thought. When we finally got our starters an hour and a half after we got to the restaurant, the tiniest portion of calamari came out. The chef came out to apologise as he said it was his fault we were seated late, as there was only one chef in the kitchen. He then showed us pictures of the kitchen of the night before, which the ceiling was leaking with lots of water. Why did the kitchen open when it clearly has been a health and safety issue the night before?? The my food was mediocre, my friend’s muscles were uncooked and had to be spat out. They gave us complimentary glasses of wine which then accumulated lots of fruit flies in them!! The manager did not offer any compensation for this service/experience or for our waiting time.
