Big D Drive-In - Bathurst

Loved it when I was young, and love it even more now. Have never had a bad meal there. The servers are friendly, helpful and give service with a smile. The Danny Burgers are fantastic, and that sauce.....YUM ! We love the fried clams and the milkshakes top off the meal. We were in town for one week, and ate there 3 times.

The Big D was a favorite of young and old for years and years. Once I left the area I used to dream of having a Danny Burger.Not like I remembered, it is so greasy. I had a friend with me and I have been talking Danny Burger for years. UGH The quality is no longer there and so greasy. My friend couldn't finish hers. I finished mine but sadly will not go back.If you have never been to an actual drive in, try it for the experience not the food.

We got take out lunch from here today. Fish and chips for me, clams and chips for my friends. It wasn't anything special.

Big D is always our stop on the way to the beach....love the drive in service so much fun...beef power, fish and chips and burgers are among the best in town

Excellent food, good prices, and superb service. You actually eat your meal in your car. One of a kind restaurant. Just go.
