Afternoon Tea At Bath

The afternoon tea at this five-star hotel was a bit underwhelming considering the price. The bread was dry and the scones should never be microwaved to heat them up.

The service at this restaurant was not great. Nobody seemed to be looking after us or understanding why we were there, even though we had clearly mentioned that we were there for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. We were initially served standard tea bag tea upon arrival, and had to specifically ask our waiter for the loose leaf tea option for our afternoon tea. The bread on the sandwiches appeared to be a bit hard on the outside and did not seem freshly prepared.

We were fortunate to visit this beautiful hotel on a sunny afternoon and were treated to afternoon tea in the garden. While we wished there was a greater variety of cakes, the experience was still delightful.

Amazing service! Really relaxing and gorgeous food too. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely the best afternoon tea I’ve had, in the most beautiful setting.

Beautiful surroundings and the staff were super helpful. We really switched off and enjoyed. The food was great and there was a menu to chose your tea too which was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend and go back.
