A real find thanks to the internet. Tucked away from the main road this is a pub with a good atmosphere, range of drinks and really excellent home cooked food at great value. Well worth a visit. Price per person: £10–20

I came here with friends for a meal. The bar had stools lined up, making it hard to get to the bar for service. The menu offered basic pub food, which was what we anticipated, and we all liked our meals. The noise level was quite high, making it hard to have a conversation and somewhat affecting the enjoyment of the evening. On a positive note, the restrooms were clean.

One of our random pub Wednesday nights and what a lucky find! got completely lost and ended up on a green lane in the car, such a good laugh and then this pub appeared, beers were great, dogs were very welcome and the food we ate was perfect, staff were very friendly, this is a proper country pub and well worth the visit. A good five stars and thank you for your hospitality, we will be back soon.

Excellent friendly local village pub, with a nice range of nicely kept beers ciders. Food is lovely too.
