The Hunters Rest Inn

In the last years hunters rest is our way with our family. the Brat dinner is great and the team always houses us in the last minute and kenny- offers our preferences. the bar staff and the water are also amazing! to elouise and sally!

We stayed at this restaurant for two days and found the accommodations to be excellent - clean and very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only issue was that the sat nav did not recognize the postcode, so we recommend using the street address instead. The restaurant is located in a remote area, but the effort to get there is well worth it.

My partner and I went to this restaurant for Sunday dinner. She enjoyed the pork dish, while I ordered the mega mixed grill - definitely not for those with a small appetite. The variety of meats were cooked perfectly and there was so much food that the chips came in a separate bowl. Highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for one night but definitely will be back! Everything was just so good...from check in to leaving. The Otter beer was definitely superb. We'd reserved a table for dinner in advance and had a superb meal. All was served quickly and perfectly cooked....My wife had the goats cheese and beetroot salad. I had the chicken liver and chorizo pate then an excellent medium rare rump steak. Friendly and efficient service throughout. The bedroom was lovely and so quiet, and after I'd turned the radiator off and opened the window we had an undisturbed night. Breakfast was just perfect with a great selection of perfectly cooked options. Look forward to coming back but might need to make time for some walks afterwards to work off the calories!
