Seven Stars

What can I say. We booked a table on the website but when we turned up we were told we are not doing food try up the road instead.

We ordered our meals and then waited an hour for a Spaghetti Bolognese and a Chicken Tikka Curry, and it wasn't I am afraid very nice.

Wow, you won’t be disappointed. However don’t expect a three course meal as the portions are so generous we only got a starters and main course and then was too full BUT DEFINITELY worth a visit, so friendly and great service. And the food was amazing.

This was the Best steak I'd had in years , beautifully cooked , full of flame grilled and full flavoured.,I could cut it with a butter knife. Generous size portions of mushrooms, fries, vegetables and onion rings to go with it, Sunday roast was really good too. Choice of roast meats , we had the beef. which came with superb crispy roast potatoes.

We popped into the Seven Stars this evening and met the new landlord. Very welcoming. and friendly. Great service. Beer is as good as ever and there is a good choice of soft drinks too. The newly refurbished lounge area with new sofas looks very comfortable and is a definite improvement. Perfect for a chat over coffee and cake. Great to hear they will soon be serving meals, including breakfasts, so we look forward to a return visit very soon.
