Star Light Thai - Bateau Bay

We are regular customers here. Always get good food and quick service, except maybe peak tourist season, but thats expected. We have our favourites and generally stick to them. And If we cant make our mind up as to what type of take away food we want, we always fall back to Starlight Thai and so far have not been dissappointed.

Thai on the Central Coast can be a bit hit and miss. Tried some take away from here tonight. Was suprised by the tasty authentic flavours. Also generous serving size for the price $12.50 for a penang beef curry and $2.50 for a small steamed rice. I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow! I noticed they also have an $8 lunch special which looks like good value as well. Will definitely be back for more!!

We travel to Thailand every year for Holidays and so we have fairly high expectations from our Thai food. Love Star Light. Great food, huge helpings and timely home delivery. Cannot fault it

The fish cakes felt (and tasted) like they were made of rubber. Looked and tasted like the veggies in the curry were frozen. No mushrooms or bamboo. The curry sauce was good though. Not so hard to do a good thai dish but you need to work with quality ingredients, which I felt like they didn't have unfortunately.

Great food, with authentic Thai flavours. Better than anything we tried in Thailand. The owners are cheerful and are very focused on presenting authentic Thai food. It is good to find people so proud of their rich culinary culture.
