Good choice on the menu. Something for everyone. Very reasonable prices. Good old fashioned friendly service. We had tuna panini which came with lovely fresh salad, coleslaw and crips. Often walked past when shopping and always seems busy. Would have preferred a pot of tea instead of mug to get strength right. Also we had to wipe table down ourselves.. Would recommend and we’ll definitely be returning..

The Town Best cafe is ideally situated in the attractive Market Place. It’s clearly a very popular place and you can see why. The menu is extensive and includes a large range of hot and cold meals as well as the ubiquitous all day breakfasts, rolls etc. We just had a couple of bacon and egg rolls with mugs of tea and they hit the spot perfectly. Service was lovely and the prices are most reasonable.

I paid £6.70 for the “Mega Breakfast” which was served quickly and in a very clean environment. The coffee was delicious and just how I like it, and it was brought to my table promptly. Although the coffee wasn't refillable, there were no other issues. The breakfast arrived soon after and looked appetizing, but there were a few things I noticed. Having a single sausage in a “Mega Breakfast” was a bit disappointing, especially since it was pre-sliced before cooking. However, this did not affect the taste, and my only complaint is that I wished there were two sausages. The bacon was excellent - cooked well, thick, and plentiful. There was only one egg, which resembled a McMuffin egg, but it was soft and delicious. There were two crispy hash browns which added to the meal, and the portion of beans was generous. There were too many mushrooms for my liking, though they were tasty. The toast had no issues. Overall, I would rate it a 6/10. It was reasonably priced, but the breakfast didn't exactly live up to its “mega” name as it was missing some extra items. Despite this, I would still be satisfied with it as a regular breakfast option. I would consider returning as it was a clean, convenient, and affordable dining experience. Breakfast Man.

This restaurant offers top-notch quality food, quick service, and excellent customer service. The portion sizes are generous and worth the price. I highly recommend dining here.

We had not been for a while, so went to see if the cafe was still good. meals very nice.meals cooked fresh while you wait.nice cups of tea . if you have not been give the place a try.
