Beautiful friendly atmosphere and pub food, very recommend the sunday roasting. the garden is also beautiful, even has a chessboard in the rasen.

Pleasurable and superb lunch in the Covid safe pretty garden. Friendly, attentive and chatty staff. Thank you Emily for the excellent salmon dishes and the memorable steak n ale pies. Thank you to Duncan for the charming banter. Hopefully we'll return in the not too distant future.

What's not to love, great owner. Amazing roast. Stringently applying by the covid rules to ensure great service, and health for all! Absolutely loved our visit as always!

Very authentic British meal in a building older than my country. Happily go back.
