We ordered the food online, but once delivered, we could not believe how delicious everything was. The Masala Dosa was great and the omelette was the best I ever had. We regularly eat indian food, but this is truely Sri Lankan, nice and spicy. But...More

This is a very unassuming, almost humble, place but well worth the visit. Having been to Sri Lanka and eaten in many Sri Lankan places, I can say that Taste Me delivers the pleasant experience of familiar flavors. Whenever I am looking for well cooked Sri Lankan food at a good price this is my place to go in the Basel area. I would recommend the experience to those more familiar with Northern Indian food, which tends to dominate in South Asian restaurants.Taste Me is a take-out and you might be better off calling ahead to order because at busy times they may take longer to finish it.
