McDonald's Restaurant - Basel

Although I usually avoid McDonalds in general, and especially when I am internationally on the go, I finally decided that it was time to try the Schar GF Bungalow, and I am so glad that I did. It tastes great, and is an excellent fast option. Hopefully, one day it's going to be the states!

DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN GO THERE ALONE! (in capital letters) it is the worst place for children in a very safe city. Yesterday two children ordered a hamburger with some vegetables and the other one, some nuggets (12 years old both), and, unfortunately were attended by an abusive employee. Although the order were registered in the right way, they give whatever he wanted, not what they ordered He was very rude Employee stole (yes, stole) them, never gave the change. When one of the girls made the complaint, he intimidate them!!!! and, did not gave the change Unfortunately, the children (two girls) don't remember the name of the employer and did dot keep the receipt. This is a place where supposed to be family oriented, but is not. Strongly recommend not ho there. Better take the tram to the Badisher Banhof one, there you can feel safe. I needed a quick snack to hold me over until my dinner a little later. I quickly popped into McDonald’s, placed my order with the very friendly staff person and soon thereafter exited with my fresh burger. The thing is with some fast-food places, you may end up getting something that has been sitting under the heat lamp for a bit. That’s why when I do go to these type places I always order a special/modified sandwich. Today, I had a double cheeseburger $4.70CHF) which is always made to order. Another option is to order a sandwich with an extra condiment or without a standard condiment and you are pretty much assured your sandwich will be made fresh. My double cheeseburger was very fresh and tasty. Too bad many of the standard sandwiches fail to have this freshness. That’s why I limit my visit to these types of fast-food places.
