12 of us went to the tee, all served on time and no problems, which was ever. katsu curry (hähnchen.) thank you later. great gins too.

Fish and chips were out of stock but then I chose a curry meal which was nice. Decent popular pub. Outdoor areas. TV sport.

We had no preconceived notions about the pub aside from a recommendation from a good friend known for their great taste. It’s a spacious establishment with plenty of seating areas. We didn’t make a reservation for lunch, but they accommodated us without issue. The menu is extensive yet surprisingly affordable. We took full advantage of the offerings, and I must say, the chicken katsu curry with chips and rice was simply divine. There’s something for everyone on the menu. The drink selection was also impressive, and I enjoyed my beverages in handmade mugs, which added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our visit even more pleasant. The pub was clean, and the atmosphere was inviting. Music played through the sound system, and live sports were shown on the TVs, though the spacious layout made it all feel quite casual. It’s definitely a family-friendly spot that I would highly recommend.

I had a lovely lunch and really enjoyed both the meal and the ambiance of the building. The staff were friendly and helpful, which enhanced our experience. It's dog-friendly too, so we definitely plan to return!

Great food and value for money, dined there as the hotel we were staying in wasn't great. The flat rump steak was delicious, hubby had steak and ale pie which was superb highly recommend.
