Paul's Burrito Express - Barrington

We normally like this place but was disappointed with the tongue taco we had; it seemed the meat had been warmed from a prior time and tasted dry and not fresh.

Paul's is fantastic—I’ve been coming here for over ten years. Their red sauce is excellent; I’ve even bought it to take home. The menu is simple, featuring a variety of Mexican dishes alongside some Mexican-American options. The food has always been great, consistently delicious, and affordable. I highly recommend checking out Paul's and supporting local businesses instead of the new Chipotle that just opened in downtown Barrington. There are plenty of Chipotles around, but Paul’s is definitely better. So whenever I’m in Barrington, I choose Paul’s and will keep doing so. It’s a staple of the community!

These are the best tacos in town! Treat yourself and visit this gem – you have to try the tacos! I'm planning to return at least once a month just for them.

The steak in the burrito tasted like it was seasoned with a packet of taco seasoning.
