Blue Heron Cafe - Barrington

The staff was very friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the bang bang shrimp.

This is such a fantastic local spot! Killian's food is delicious, and the portions are very generous. The Italian beef sandwich is absolutely incredible!

I went for lunch at this newly opened restaurant and was the only customer there at the time. The meal was enjoyable and fairly priced. I had some nice conversations with the owner. Just a heads up: they only accept cash. I wasn’t aware of this until I received the check, but thankfully it wasn’t a problem.

Walked in after watching Gattaca, very hungry and wanting a delicious **** mary. Little did I know I was gonna get a mouthful of rust! Food was low quality, I ordered a pizza and it had canned cheese. When I went home I puked for hours. Thanks for theexperiece, Blue Heron. I wont be back!

The staff was incredibly friendly, the location was pleasant, and they are dog-friendly (although I'm not certain about inside, as we dined outdoors).
