Bidrage med feedbackWe chose the Split option for their special turkey dinner. It 's a smaller portion for 2. And it rally was enough, I couldn 't have eaten more. It was hot, fresh, and even came with a nice chowder as a starter. Incredible value! My only small...complaint is the lack of spices. It was quite bland until we added some salt and pepper. But I have that problem in most North American restaurants, they always fear to over-spice, and leave it up to customers to add spices. In my opinion that 's the job of the cook.
We were staying in Barriere for the True Grit Rodeo, and we had no idea about any of the restaurants in town. We asked some strangers where we should go to eat, and we received a unanimous response to dine here. I figured they couldn't...be wrong as when we showed up, there was only one available table. I ordered the special, Eggs Benedict, and my wife ordered from the menu. Our server was the same one mentioned in a review below tall, slender, and beautiful. Despite having a full house to handle by herself, she had our drinks and menus on the table before we were even completely settled in. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and she was very knowledgeable about the food menu. She was able to answer our many questions without having to speak to the kitchen first. Our food was very good and served hot. I had asked for my eggs benedict to be medium, and that is what I got. It was a good experience all around, ice cold water, hot coffee, and hot food. It was nice to see our server recognize locals like they were all old friends, and still cater to us out of towners. We decided to return for lunch on our way out of town, and again, we received excellent food and excellent service from the same server (and I assume cook) that had helped us in the morning. The prices for both breakfast and lunch were more than fair. The clam chowder soup was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience here, and I will return to this restaurant when I'm in town for the next rodeo.
Ordered takeout pizza. Pizza is very good and reasonably priced. Much cheaper and tastier than the other pizza place in town. Only downside is you can only get after 4pm
The waitress was friendly and attentive right from the start. We ordered the seafood appetizer platter which was absolutely delicious, although it was a bit too much for the two of us to finish. The waitress provided excellent service with a smile throughout the meal. Overall, it's a cozy and charming little restaurant.
We tried the pizza from this popular restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, especially considering the affordable price.
