Our service was amazing and the layout is nice. All our food was on point, other than the steak needing a touch of salt. My only complaint is it was a very cold night when we went and the old building has some drafty spots. If you going on a colder night wear a sweater Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

2023: 2/5 (really should be 1.5/5) The place looks really nice, the servers are friendly though a bit slow with bringing food and drink, the food over salted (for the most part), took forever to arrive, not cooked properly (for the most part)... Before I begin, I have to say most in our group wanted me to rate this as a 1/5 as the food they had was horribly spiced...I included photos of some of the items... Drinks: 3/5 Most of the mixed drinks were mainly ice though tasted good for the top part, tasted like a slushie without flavour for the bottom part... Food: 1/5 Most of the food was OVERSALTED...one person at our table asked for WELL DONE steak and got it MEDIUM RARE...sent it back twice and it was still MEDIUM at best...another asked for medium well chops and got it a lot more raw...my steak was spiced okay, just was COLD TO THE TOUCH...like they had cooked mine first and then left it to wait while they cooked/rushed the other foods (I ordered medium well for the record)...NOT nice, a cold steak never tastes as good as it could... The servers, they were friendly, though they took a while to bring our food and drinks (OVER AN HOUR and A HALF for our food) Anyhow they were friendly which is the ONLY reason this is not a 1/5 rating...well that and the decor of the place, it was kinda nice, no 5/5 for the decor but a solid 3.5/5 to 4/5 for the decor...just you come for the food, and THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL OVERALL...

My wife selected The North Restaurant from a Google search and liked the menu. We met good friends there for dinner on a Thursday evening. Parking was available just outside. We walked in to a very friendly place greeted by the staff. We were seated right away and ordered some very nice wine. Our server was very polite and experienced regarding the dishes being served that evening. However, only a few of the menu items were available and other dishes were being offered. All of which sounded very good. I had the swordfish with risotto, couscous and red cabbage. Each ingredient in its own flavourful sauce. I know I stopped a couple of times to tell my wife and friends how good my meal tasted. My friend had the baked chicken with asparagus on risotto. We all left The North Restaurant pleased and satisfied. We also agreed that we would make this a good place to meet and eat. Cheers
