Polski Deli - Barrie

I ordered vinegar paprika chips, soda, and Haribo gummies at this restaurant. The meat was extremely dry and some pieces were almost spoiled. The donuts, on the other hand, were quite tasty and satisfying.

There are many European dishes to choose from at this restaurant. I enjoyed delicious fresh herb-infused fillets for Christmas, as well as tasty beef dishes. My only suggestion is that they should consider expanding their premises as the place gets quite busy. Overall, a great experience!

We absolutely adore this restaurant! The selection of Polish sausage and various types of salami is excellent. I won't reveal my favorite, as it often sells out by the end of the weekend! Another fantastic option is the pre-carved meats. After selecting your meats, be sure to grab a dessert right at the checkout. One popular choice is a Polish donut filled with fruit instead of having a hole in the middle. Just a word of caution, these donuts are quite filling - it almost feels like they were used as cannon balls during wartime! It's best to share one with a friend.

I enjoy exploring ethnic cuisine restaurants, so I made a U-turn when I discovered Polski Deli and went into my head. What I found was a delicacies business that sold Polish culinary products. The meat counter had a very wide range of sausages, ham and other meat products... marked with Polish names. Mouthwatering Take-Heimat. But this establishment is not a "restaurant" deli... neither diving nor going out. Cooled soft drinks are available in the refrigerator. But no sandwiches, no hot drinks, no etc.... I was able to buy a generic pastry for immediate consumption, but that was all. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. Nevertheless, much less than I had hoped.

If only I lived in Barrie, I would be shopping here every week. Friendly staff, wide variety of wonderful food…right from the ready made meals offered at the deli counter to the kielbasa, smoked sausages and all lunch meats. Great prices. Absolutely love the schnitzel...on a bun. I have it every time I pass through. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Don't waste your money on the fast food places.
